Owner/Captain Colin Griffinson's love of the water started with his Irish heritage and childhood in DunLaoighre Harbour in Dublin, Ireland. From his early fishing experience in the North and Irish seas to his first 72-foot seiner, Colin is passionate about boats. When he is not involved in the running his business concerns in Vancouver, Colin can often be found aboard this special boat.
Executive chef Catherine Cafiti was born and raised in a small town just outside of Montreal. What this passionate French Canadian brings to the kitchen is the simplicity and comfort of this small town’s French cuisine. After graduating from the Insitut de Tourisme et D’Hotellier du Quebec she traveled to Emilia-Romagna, Italy as an ambassador to the Montaruli-Magnagni Foundation. After four months in Italy she studied wine pairings in Burgundy, France. On return to Canada she was commissioned to assist in the opening of two restaurants as a chefing consultant. Chef Catherine cooked for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turino. As the owner of her own catering company she moved to the west coast to work with some of Vancouver’s finest, immersing herself into the west coast’s obsession with fresh food. All of Catherine’s guests are welcome to watch her cook some of the best regional west coast food in her open kitchen aboard Pacific Yellowfin. Please see our sample menu.

Chief Steward - To Be Decided.
With just a little prompting, Chief Engineer Jack Dixon can tell fascinating stories from his many years of maritime experience aboard coastal freighters and tankers along the BC coast. His dry sense of humour is also a welcome addition.
One additional crew member may join some charters. |
